Rooted in the understanding that vulnerability and dialogue can transform individuals, families, organizations, and the world, she created shared story. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy & Sociology from Lake Forest College, and a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Resolution from Antioch University McGregor. Certified in basic, family, and specialized alternative dispute resolution mediation training with a concentration in high conflict scenarios, Kelly believes that at the core, we all yearn to be heard and understood by the other. Kelly serves on the Nebraska Judicial Branch’s Office of Dispute Resolution panel as a family mediator as a bridge between parents and attorneys negotiating custody disputes and parenting plan creation/modification. Additionally, as a leadership member of the Reflective Practice Institute, she trains international mediators in the power of the reflective process in conflict. Complementing her private practice, Kelly serves as faculty at Creighton University teaching conflict resolution courses in negotiation, family systems in conflict, constructive facilitative conflict engagement and mediation to graduate students.
